Email

If you subscribe, the site collects your email address, subscription time, and basic delivery information such as opens or bounces when the newsletter provider supplies it. This is used only to send the field notes, understand whether they are useful, and prevent abuse. Your address is not sold or rented.

Site analytics

If you select “Allow analytics,” Google Analytics counts page views and records the referring site or campaign, approximate region, browser and device type, and clicks on important links such as the book, articles, social profiles, and advisory bookings. Newsletter form contents and email addresses are never sent to analytics.

It also records visits to missing pages, failed newsletter requests, and limited technical-error categories so I can find site problems. Error messages, stack traces, query strings, and full asset URLs are not sent.

Analytics stays off until you allow it. Advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google Signals are disabled. You can change your choice at any time below.

Service providers

The newsletter service processes subscriptions and deliveries on behalf of vanielle.io. After consent, Google Analytics processes site measurement data under Google’s privacy policy.

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask for your subscription data to be removed by contacting Vanielle through the social links on the homepage.
